Many Glacier Hotel Located on picturesque Swiftcurrent Lake, this hotel is a favorite for its panoramic views of nearby Grinnell Point and Mt. Henkel. Both of these spots are some of the park's best locations for spotting mountain goats, big horn sheep and bears during the summer and early fall.
Built in 1914 and 1915, Many Glacier Hotel is the largest hotel in the park with 208 rooms. Its design was modeled after Swiss chalets and the Swiss theme is carried throughout the hotel, most notably in the main dining room, which features the flags of Switzerland's Cantons. The hotel is located in the northeast corner of Glacier National Park and eleven miles west of Babb, Montana on Highway 89. This entrance to Glacier National Park dead ends one mile past Many Glacier Hotel at Swift Current Motor Inn & Cabins.
